Loving this warm weather!

This past weekend we took advantage of the no-tax, post Thanksgiving shopping and finally got a new camera. With the weather being so nice as well, I just had to take Brooklynn outside and try out my new toy. Here's a couple shots.

Go to sleep!

As we were watching the Panther game on Sunday, Brooklynn went down for her nap. She didn't sleep for long, and we started to hear her talking and playing up in her crib. We wanted her to go back to sleep and finish her nap but apparently she was just way too busy. When we went upstairs and opened her door, we just had to laugh. She was right in the middle of organizing all her stuffed animals, lining them all up between the wall and her crib.

Christmas already?

Yes, it's Christmas time already and with that comes a big ol' tree. We went and picked out a tree over the weekend and Brooklynn really got excited about having a real live tree inside her house. She was really helpful in hanging the ornaments...and then taking them off. It's going to be really fun to watch her get into the Christmas thing this year!

Surrounded!

Wherever Brooklynn goes she has to have at least a couple of her stuff animals with her. Today she brought more than a couple with her on our car ride to Grammy's house. All you could see was two little pigtails poking out of the pile in her car seat.

Like mommy, like daughter...

Brooklynn loves to read, even if it's a book with no pictures. While Joy was reading her Bible the other night, Brooklynn sat down next to her, grabbed the Bible, and proceeded to run her fingers across each page as she said some gibberish. Very cute indeed. I just had to snap a photo of the two intellectual girls in my house.

Mimi and Papa come to Greenville.

My parents made a quick stop off in Greenville on their way back from their Pawley's Island vacation and Brooklynn was so excited to see them again. They took her out for a special breakfast on Saturday morning with Anna Kate and Lauren. I don't know how they do it. Three car seats in the back of their car! It's so great for Brooklynn to have these times with her Mimi and Papa.

Three little bugs!

On Halloween night Anna Kate and Lauren came over to show Brooklynn their costumes, and we just had to take a picture of all of them together. It just so happened that they all dressed up as bugs...a bee, a spider, and a butterfly. They were all so cute. Getting a picture of them all, well, wasn't so cute. Finally got a decent one though.

Daddy's Work Picnic

My office puts on an annual fall picnic out at a farm each year and the time came once again to go. Brooklynn was pretty young last year, so I knew that this year she would enjoy it so much more. We told her that she would get to go on a hay ride, so the entire night she kept saying "Ride? Hay?" They did in fact have hay rides this year, and Brooklynn really took it all in. I also have to mention that I competed in the pie-eating contest...and I won! That was a lot of peach pie.
