Not only is Brooklynn getting better and better at walking, but she's also learned so many other things the past few weeks. One thing that Joy has taught her recently is to put one of her fingers up when asked "How old is Brooklynn?" It is such a cute sight!
Joy really loves to dress up her little doll, especially on Sundays when we go to church. She looked especially cute this past week in her new blue dress. Thought we'd share a glimpse.
Brooklynn is right on the verge of taking up this little thing called "walking". She's pretty shaky right now, but just last night she walked a whole 15 steps and I was lucky enough to catch it on video. A couple more weeks and she'll be running all over the house!
Brooklynn is always wanting to play with our cellphones and so we got her a little toy cellphone of her very own. She really thinks she's big stuff now and loves to open and shut it constantly. She also knows exactly what to do when the camera comes out...HAM IT UP!
Brooklynn loves to spend each day with her Grammy (and Grampy) and just a couple weeks ago she got to see her uncle Barry who was visiting all the way from California. It was great to have Joy's entire family together during the Holidays!
As the Carolina Panthers start their playoff run, we just had to get Brooklynn dressed up for the occasion. She looked so cute in her little cheerleading outfit, and so far it's working. Carolina is up 7-0 against the Giants.
Just this past weekend we got to see our friends Brad and Jenny Ramler and their two twin boys Bryce and Braydn. We met over at Becky and Shane's house, so Brooklynn got to go outside and play with the twins and Anna Kate. She really enjoyed strapping herself in to the Barbie jeep as Anna Kate floored it down the road. We're learning that our little girl is pretty fearless.
What a wonderful year 2005 was for us as we watched Brooklynn grow up the last 10 1/2 months. She's such a blessing to us and we can't wait to see what's in store for 2006. Happy New Year!
